Terms of Service

Last updated: 13/11/2024

1. Introduction

Welcome to Lena Learning, a subscription service providing access to AI-generated educational worksheets for children, based on the UK National Curriculum. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our platform. By subscribing and using our service, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To create an account, you must be 18 years or older. You may create profiles for children under your account, but we only collect first names and school years for child profiles. Although our content aligns with the English National Curriculum, users outside the UK may access it at their own discretion, as alignment with non-UK curriculums cannot be guaranteed.

3. Subscription & Payment Terms

Our service currently operates on a monthly subscription model, with payment due at the beginning of each billing cycle. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, with no refunds for partial months. Annual subscription options may be introduced in the future.

Price Adjustments

Subscription prices may be adjusted based on the Retail Price Index (RPI) or similar inflationary measures. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after a price adjustment constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Content Use

The worksheets and materials we provide are for personal, non-commercial use only. Sharing or distributing content outside your household is prohibited. Any non-personal use requires prior permission.

5. Modification of Services

Our service may evolve over time. We reserve the right to modify or suspend any features or functionalities. In cases of significant disruptions or unavoidable service suspensions, we may issue refunds at our discretion.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the service solely for its intended educational purposes. Users are prohibited from:

  • Entering inappropriate or non-educational requests in worksheet personalization fields.
  • Using the service to generate or request content that is offensive, adult-oriented, or promotes illegal activities.
  • Attempting to circumvent usage limitations or restrictions.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide high-quality, relevant content, we are not liable for any errors, inaccuracies, or interruptions in service. Our liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you have paid in subscription fees over the last 12 months.

8. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we recommend contacting our support team to discuss the issue. Disputes regarding payments are managed by our payment processor, Stripe, following their procedures.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under UK law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. You will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the new Terms.
